Packaging Design, Jaipur
Packaging That
Sells at Shelf.
Structural and graphic packaging design from Jaipur. Retail, export, food, pharma, gifting — from dieline to press-ready artwork to finished printed stock.
Our Approach
Structure First.
Then Graphics.
Most packaging failures are structural, not graphic. A carton that won't close cleanly, a bottle label that won't wrap without wrinkles, a box with a lid that lifts loose — these are dieline problems, not design problems. We fix them before we open Illustrator.
Twenty years of taking packaging from concept to press means we know what makes a good design look bad in production. We design with print constraints, lamination behaviour, and retail handling in mind — not just how something looks on a screen.
What's Included
Eight Packaging
Capabilities.
Structural Design
Dieline development for folding cartons, rigid boxes, inserts, and custom structures. Engineered for the product, the retail environment, and the production process.
Graphic Design
The full visual system applied to the pack — typography, colour, imagery, hierarchy. Every element is considered from shelf distance and close inspection both.
Retail Packaging
Designed to win at shelf. Competitive benchmarking, planogram placement, and eye-level impact are built into the brief from day one.
Export Packaging
UK, EU, and international compliance built in. Multilingual copy, regulatory declarations, barcode positioning, and country-specific requirements handled.
Food & Beverage
FSSAI-compliant artwork — nutritional information, allergen declarations, best-before formatting, and mandatory label hierarchy for food and drink products.
Luxury & Gifting
Premium rigid boxes, sleeve packaging, tissue wraps, and inserts. Finishing specifications — foil, embossing, soft-touch laminate — sourced and managed.
Label Design
Primary, secondary, and back-panel labels for bottles, jars, pouches, and sachets. Print-ready for flexographic, digital, and offset production.
3D Visualisation
Photorealistic renders of the finished pack — for internal sign-off, retailer presentations, and marketing assets — before a single unit goes to press.
Our Process
Brief to Shelf
in Four Phases.
Brief & Benchmarking
We learn the product, the category, the retail environment, and the competition. Packaging design without shelf context is just illustration.
Structure & Layout
Dieline development and initial layout concepts. We establish the structure before committing to the graphic layer — a pack that doesn't fit the product fails at the first hurdle.
Design & Refinement
Full graphic development across approved structure. Two directions, presented in context — flat and 3D. One direction taken through to completion.
Pre-Press & Delivery
Print-ready artwork, Pantone callouts, colour profile setup, and supplier liaison. We stay involved until you have finished, approved stock in hand.

Common Questions
Packaging FAQ.
How much does packaging design cost in Jaipur?
Label and simple carton design starts from ₹15,000–₹30,000. Full structural packaging with graphic design — dieline development, finished artwork, and 3D mockups — typically ranges from ₹50,000–₹1,50,000+ depending on category complexity, number of SKUs, and whether export compliance work is needed.
Do you design packaging for export to the UK or Europe?
Yes. KINO has designed packaging for clients exporting to the United Kingdom and Germany. We incorporate mandatory labelling requirements, multilingual copy, and EU/UK regulatory compliance (e.g. UKCA, CE, nutritional declarations) into the design from the start.
What files do you deliver at the end of a packaging project?
We deliver: print-ready PDFs (with bleeds, crop marks, and colour profiles), layered source files (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop), the structural dieline, 3D visualisation renders for approval and marketing use, and a handover document with colour specifications (Pantone, CMYK, RGB, HEX).
How long does packaging design take?
A label or single-SKU carton project typically takes 2–3 weeks. A full range with structural development, regulatory copy, and multiple SKUs takes 4–8 weeks. Timelines depend on brief clarity, feedback speed, and the number of revision rounds.
Can KINO also print the packaging once designed?
Yes. We have an in-house print capability and long-standing relationships with specialised packaging printers for offset-laminated cartons, flexographic labels, rigid boxes, and large-format printing. We can manage end-to-end from design to finished, delivered stock.
